Practice Direction 27A addresses the preparation of court bundles in family proceedings. It is intended to ensure that hearing documents are proportionate, relevant and easy to use.
Start with the court order
Always check the latest directions order. The court may specify who is responsible for preparing the bundle, the filing deadline and any page limits.
Remove unnecessary material
A bundle should not become an indiscriminate archive. Include documents that are relevant to the issues the court will decide.
